I know finals are just around the corner for many of us and our new hires will be particularly stressed. I just wanted to remind everyone to start studying for that massive spelling test that is coming up. It can be a challenge. For the new guys especially, really get to know the material. There is a reason we ask that these words need to be memorized and it because we use them on a regular basis. Well...maybe not all of them on a regular basis but a great majority of them and I can guarantee we do encounter all of them eventually. For those of you who are taking the repeat test, I can also guarantee it is much easier the second round after you have used these words and have a general idea what most of them mean. That being said we need to give a huge thank you to Sylvia and all the people who helped revamp the test because it sorely needed an update.
Studying is good but there is such a thing as studying too much. Try taking a break every once in a while. Study for an hour and play a round of video games or do something to keep your mind engaged in a fun and active way. It is a lot to do but I know you all can do it, after all we have made it this far haven't we?
I want to also give a huge shoutout to Sonja and the entire team who put our annual Christmas party together. I wasn't able to attend but I am still getting the stories. I even heard certain physicians were getting down on the dance floor. Your support helped to make it legen...wait for it...dary!
